Whether joints are visible depends primarily on the tile construction and the colour design. WARCO products with a puzzle connection interlock firmly, creating only narrow joints. With multicoloured designs made from differently coloured rubber granulate, these fine gaps are often perceived merely as faint shadows, giving the impression of an almost seamless surface. Tiles with straight, chamfered edges, by contrast, show a more defined joint pattern, similar to ceramic tiles.
The edge finish also plays a role: with unchamfered edges, the joint pattern is virtually invisible and barely noticeable even when walking barefoot. With single-colour coverings, the joint pattern may be more pronounced depending on the tile type. Different tile variants thus produce different visual results – from clearly visible joints to barely perceptible connections.
